Battle of Second Bull Run

Last week John David Hoptak the Park Ranger at the Antietam National Battlefield, wrote a series of posts about the 48th Pennsylvania and the second battle of Bull Run. You can check out the first here.

Using Google maps to search and map out historical sites is brilliant. It's more convenient to use Google Maps compared to other time-consuming procedures such as mapping and surveys. I salute your efforts and, hopefully, many more historians will take advantage of this modern technology.
